Zimbabwe to spend $2.5 million for President Mugabe’s 93rd birthday party
Zanu PF, Zimbabwe‘s ruling party is reportedly set to spend the sum of $2,5 million on President Robert Mugabe‘s 93rd birthday party.
Kudzai Chipanga, the party’s youth secretary said ten provinces are expected to raise $250,000 towards the birthday party, which will result in $2.5 million.
Despite the country’s struggling economy, the ten provinces are to raise the money through individuals, private companies, parastatals and local authorities.
President Robert Mugabe, the oldest president in the World will be 93 on Tuesday, the 21st day of February, 2017.
